Essential pantry items to have on hand

This is my ‘desert island list.’ If I were being exiled and had to choose only a few substances to stock up on for healing and making household items and cosmetics, I would choose these (in no particular order):

  • Apple cider vinegar – alkalizing agent
  • Baking soda – alkalizing agent
  • Turmeric – fresh and powder, anti-inflammatory, metal chelator
  • Cannabis oil – immune booster, cancer killer
  • Honey – immune booster, anti-bacterial, anti-viral
  • Fish oil – source of Omega 3 fatty acids and iodine
  • Garlic – you name it, garlic has it, as healing substance
  • Ginger – almost as good as garlic
  • Astragalus – immune-boosting, detoxifying herb
  • Ashwaganda – adaptogenic herb
  • Resveretrol – polyphenol with anti-oxidant qualities
  • Medicinal mushrooms – immune-boosting, cancer-fighting
  • Vitamin D3– linked to cancer and immunity
  • Iodine – anti-parasitic element essential for thyroid
  • Seaweed and/or powdered greens – detox, source of iodine
  • Lemon juice – stimulates bile production, alkalyzing
  • Coconut oil – medicinal and cosmetic uses
  • Tea tree oil – strong anti-microbial
  • Oregano oil – antimicrobial, immune-boosting
  • Castor oil – medicinal and cosmetic uses
  • Wormwood Combination (wormwood, black walnut hull, clove) – effective parasiticide

Oh Cheryl, I’m so sorry to hear this. Give him a peck on the cheek and a hug for me and tell him I believe in him! He can take charge of his healing. Love and strength to you.
