On Bone Metastases and Thriving Metsters…
When we are first diagnosed with stage 4, we are given very little hope from the medical establishment. All we want to know is that there are cases of women who live for more than the couple of years (in my case months) we are given and are able to have a good quality of life. Most of us are not told that being in a room full of metastatic thrivers is possible. All I need to know is that it is possible, and then I will ‘make it so.’
Post #7: Non-toxic Targeted Alternative Cancer Therapies: anti-cancer botanicals and re-purposed drugs
At the International Integrative Oncology Conference in San Diego, April 2016, Dr. Dach presented a large amount of research and his slides showed many diagrams showing what is happening on a molecular level with these alternative cancer therapies in killing cancer. I am distilling it all down to the names of substances and a rough description of how they work.
Post #6: Electromagnetic Radiation and Cancer
We are surrounded by ElectroMagnetic Fields (EMFs) in our homes, school, workplaces, and outside, from cell phone and towers, power lines and smart meters, wi-fi routers, etc. Even out hybrid vehicles with Bluetooth communication.
You may remember reading about Dr. Eliaz as I covered his lecture at the Complementary and Alternative Cancer Therapies Conference (aka Annie Appleseed). Dr. Eliaz has been focusing on using Galectin-3 levels as a new biomarker for cancer and reducing those levels and cancer with the use of Modified Citrus Pectin. Galectin-3 is a protein associated with a three-fold increase in mortality, usually associated with heart disease.
Post #4: The Role of Fungus in Cancer
More than 75,000 species of fungus have been identified but it is extimated there are actually more than 1.5 million. Over 300 have been identified as human pathogens. The American Caner Society defines fungal mycotoxins as mutagenic carcinogens. Most are immuno-suppressive and none can be destroyed by heat.
Post #3: Anti-oxidants and Detoxification in Cancer Patients
This lecture focused on efficacy of using supplementary anti-oxidants with traditional cancer treatment protocols.
Post #2: Optimizing the immune system to kill cancer
Optimizing the immune system to kill cancer, Notes from the International Integrative Oncology Conference, San Diego, 2016
Post #1: Maximizing chemo and minimizing side effects
Maximizing chemo and minimizing side effects. Notes from the International Integrative Oncology Conference, San Diego, 2016. Two methods that increase the efficacy of chemotherapy and minimize its side effects are …
Highlights from the Complementary and Alternative Cancer Therapies Conference
May I just say how nice it was to be surrounded by a couple of hundred people who speak the same language and have the same truth as me… that, as the Columbia university study found, 95% of cancer is caused by an immune system which is overloaded by environmental toxins and a necessary way to fight it is to follow a few basic principles.
